In miracles we trust

March 10, 2011
In miracles we trust, casting small stones and tattered feathers in the dirt at our feet. Cross fingers for changes or blow the seedpods off a dandelion–both could produce results like weeds.

But this is not a deus ex machina world. When rabbits emerge from hats, it probably means we should have been checking sleeves the whole time.

    Yes!

(I was going to say this is the best thing I’d read all week; then I realized I’d spent last night reading Anne Carson so that wasn’t quite true, nor a fair comparison).

  2. Sarah, yeah…I’m totally fine to let Anne Carson win this battle. ;-) Thanks for the comment and for stopping by.

  3. Love it!

  4. Thanks, Kären!
